Join us for an informative and fun filled introduction to open water ("wild") swimming.
Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, 10am - 1pm
Robinson Beach in Freeland, Washington
Swimming in the wild waters of the Salish Sea is a way to experience a world of wonder many never see, and it's gaining in popularity. There are many open-water and triathlon groups on Whidbey Island and around the Pacific Northwest that offer opportunities to enjoy the water, both seasonally and year-round. But how do you begin swimming in open water and do so safely? Participating in an Open Water Swim Clinic, sponsored by the South Whidbey Parks & Aquatics Foundation, is a great starting point for anyone looking to learn the basics of open water swimming and to connect with others in a fun and safe environment.
