SWPAF sponsors Open Water Swim Clinics yearly to every other year, usually in June. There are two options including a freshwater clinic in Goss Lake with triathlon focus and a saltwater clinic at Seawall Park in Langley
Swimming in the open water is a way to experience a world many never see. Enter one of the bodies of water around the Pacific Northwest and you can find beauty, happiness, serenity and fitness, but also cold, waves, barnacled rocks, boat traffic, currents, and stinging jellyfish. How do you sort through those latter elements to get to all the benefits of open water swimming? Simple. Attend an Open Water Swim Clinic sponosered by the South Whidbey Parks and Aquatics Foundation (SWPAF).
